🎨 Magic Design: This new feature allows the user to save time searching for the right template by using AI to pull up the right template for you based on the photo/video you drag in. Magic, right?

🎨 Magic Presentation: Worried that your presentation looks a bit dull? Not only can Canva provide you with a template based on a written prompt, it can also write the content for you! We don’t suggest you should let AI write out all your work though.

🎨 Magic Write: Available in 21 different languages, you can now use AI within Canva to do the writing for you - but if you’ve got the writing down, you can always use it to just further summarise and clean up your text.

🎨 Magic Edit: Have you decided you want to change something pretty major about a picture you’ve taken? Using the magic eraser you can now remove what you don’t want from a picture and type in a prompt to generate a replacement.

🎨 Draw: Using Canva’s whiteboard feature you can now free draw directly on it, giving users the freedom to create their own designs. Using Canva’s Shape Assist tool, you can turn your doodles into shapes or lines.

🎨 Translate: Need your designs in multiple languages? Look no further! Canva’s new translate tool allows users to write out their text and use a drop-down menu to translate it into over 100 different languages - although, you may want to still proof these to make sure they still make sense.

🎨 Text to image: Canva released it’s AI-generated picture tool in 2022, but it’s now received upgrades to generate the pictures quicker, make the images higher resolution, and there are new styles. Be careful though - copyright rules around AI-generated art are a very grey area.
