We’re only 3 months into the new year, but there’s already been a lot of major changes to our favourite apps - but don’t worry, unite Marketing and Events have you covered! Here are all the most recent social media updates you NEED to know 👇

🔄 TikTok has rolled out a new feature that allows users to refresh their For You feed if they feel that the videos being recommended to them are no longer relevant.

🎥 Tiktok has also announced “Series”, a way for creators to share their videos as ‘premium content’ that will be hidden behind a paywall. Each series can have 80 videos and each video can be up to 20 minutes long.

🔡As if 4,000 characters weren’t enough, Elon has announced that Twitter Blue Subscribers will soon be able to post tweets with up to 10,000.

​​👥 Instagram is rolling out its age verification feature across more regions and more countries within Europe. This feature will make users upload their ID to verify their age is what they have stated on their profile.

💰 Meta has paused their Reel Creator Fund program. This pause will impact US creators across Facebook and Instagram.
